Great Southern Bank welcomes new partnership with aggregator Lendi

Australia’s largest customer owned bank, Great Southern Bank, is today joining Lendi Group’s lending panel, building a new pipeline of customers to the bank and supporting its purpose of helping all Australians to own their own home.

Across the Lendi, Aussie and Domain Home Loans brands, the Lendi Group has over 1,000 brokers and 230 retail stores across the country. As Australia's largest retail mortgage broker and number one home loan platform, the partnership will add more choice to both Great Southern Bank’s and Lendi Group’s customer offering.

Megan Keleher, Chief Customer Officer of Great Southern Bank, said: “This is an important partnership for Great Southern Bank, underpinned by a shared commitment to helping more Australians achieve their home ownership dreams. Through our investment in new technology and commitment to continuous improvement, we are making the home loan application process faster and more efficient for our broker partners.”

At its half year results Great Southern Bank reported that:

  • home loan approval times had halved over the previous 12 months;
  • the bank had doubled the number of loans it processed; and
  • more than 3,000 customers had been helped to buy their own home through Australian Government homebuyer support schemes.

Under this partnership, Greater Southern Bank loan options will be made available to its customer members through the Lendi Group platform from 18 July.
