Everyone says their people are great. But ours really are incredible. They’re ambitious hardworking and professional, but they care for each other and they give their all. At Great Southern Bank, there’s always a friend cheering you on.
We asked our people what it’s like working for Great Southern Bank...
Here’s what they said about how great culture is lived.
Tanya: All right, there's lots in here. When you think of the culture
Alex: at Great Southern Bank,
Aaron: what comes to mind?
Emily: How awesome it is.
George: Yes, I was about to say that, yeah. I've got new, new team members that have joined and they're just so impressed here. Like this is the culture here is fantastic versus where we came from.
Alex: People just say to me when they start, I can't believe how friendly everyone is. It's always the same.
Tanya: What makes a great culture is the people that are, are working here and aligned to that same thought process and behaviours to make new people feel really welcome.
Christina: For me. It's the inclusivity. That's the key for the culture.
Cuc: I do feel like I'm valued regardless of my background or ethnicity. And that makes me feel like I am comfortable being myself here and I do not need to try to be someone else to fit in.
Emily: Something we do really well here, in my opinion, is celebrate each other and the things that we do and the things that we achieve
George: Having gone through branches, you know, into, into the head office as different as it is, the culture and the vibe is still exactly the same. So, I think it's just a testament to the people within Great Southern Bank that their dedication to having this as such an exemplary workspace.
Emily: The people we work with really make this organisation what it is. And I reckon it's that genuine commitment to a meaningful purpose that attracts people like us who want to work here and contribute to that.
Our people make our culture. Shape it with us.
