Everybody is saving for something, but sometimes, the temptation to spend gets in the way - that’s where The Vault can help.
Use The Vault to put a savings account out of sight, making it invisible on your Online Banking (and in your mobile banking app) home page. You can even add a light-hearted message to remind yourself to stick with your goal!
How to remove an account from The Vault.
You will need:
- Online Banking access. Register here.
To add an account to The Vault

Step 1
Log into Online Banking and go to The Vault icon on your homepage. Click “Learn about The Vault”.

Click the plus (+) icon at the bottom of the screen to add an account to The Vault.

Select the account you want to hide in The Vault from the drop down.
Next, add your personal deterrent message to remind you why you wanted to save.
Then, choose an account symbol that best describes your savings goal.
Click on the Terms and Conditions and read. If you agree, Tick the T&Cs box and click Save.

You’ll receive confirmation your account is now in The Vault. You’ll also now see The Vault in the left-hand menu, showing the number of accounts locked away from view.

You can view your balance or edit your account at any time. Click on the 3 dots and select Edit or Show balance.
