What are Business+ Invoices?

Getting paid can feel like pulling teeth for small businesses owners. Throw the increasing threat of payment scams into the mix and it gets a whole lot harder.

To tip the scales back in favour of small business owners, Great Southern Bank offers a new invoicing and payment system called Business+ Invoices, available in Business+ online.

Business+ Invoices lets you send invoices to your customers from within your Business+ banking profile. Better still, it uses automated reminders to chase up payments so you don’t have to. The invoices also include online payment links, giving your customers the choice to pay by card right there and then.

But the biggest benefits for business owners is time saved on admin, and faster payment times. That’s good for business.

How does Business+ Invoices work?

Business+ Invoices lets you send payment requests to your customers with an invoice that’s generated automatically. Your customers can then pay their bill using bank details, card payments, Apple Pay or Google Pay (via a Stripe secure link), PayID® or old-school BSB and account number. Payments go directly to your Business+ Account.

There’s no need to chase up overdue invoices, we do it for you. That’s one big headache all small business owners would be happy to avoid.

And, come tax time, you’ll have your invoices conveniently at hand.

Business+ Invoices is currently available through Business+ online, but will be added to the Business+ app soon.

What are the fees for Business+ Invoices?

We’ve kept fees low to make the service more accessible for smaller small businesses.

  • Free sign-up
  • Free invoice creation
  • Free bank transfers and PayID payments

For card payments, you’ll be charged a fee per payment for the use of Stripe’s secure payment platform. To learn more about the fees that apply to you, check out Business+ online.

How to set up Business+ Invoices with Business+ online

It’s easy to set up Business+ Invoices. Just follow these steps:

  1. Log into Business+ online, choose Explore and go to Business+ Invoices.
  2. Select Open Now.
  3. You’ll be asked to Add Information. As Business+ Invoices uses Stripe as a payment provider, you’ll need to re-confirm some of your information with them, then add details that will appear on the invoices you send to your customers.
  4. Review your details and Submit.

Stripe will review your details and then you’ll be able to get started with Business+ Invoices.
