How to upload documents for your business loan application

Time is always against the small business owner.

One of the advantages of the Business app is removing the need to print off paperwork, visit a branch, or wait on hold to apply for a business loan.

Business loan and other finance applications are completed entirely in-app in around 20 minutes.

As part of your application, you’ll be asked to upload your business’s financial documents into the Business app. Here’s what you need to know to make your application seamless.

How to upload documents for your business loan application

Before you start your application, make sure you have your business financial documents saved to your mobile device. This can include tax returns, BAS, profit and loss statements etc.

If you’ve got them saved to your computer, an easy way to access them on your phone or tablet is to email them to yourself and save them to your mobile phone’s File management app.

Once the documents are saved to your device, here’s what to do when prompted to upload your them to the Business app:

  1. In the Business Financials section of the application, select the document to be uploaded by choosing ‘+’
  2. Choose ‘Upload File’
  3. Choose the file from your device and select ‘Upload file’
  4. The maximum file size for upload is 5MB per document and you can upload multiple files for each document required (PDFs are preferred)
